Granite Stone

The technical difference between marble and granite is that granite is an igneous rock, that was once molten and formed as it cooled. The minerals contained in granite usually appear as small flecks throughout the stone. The range of colours is vast and tends to lean more towards the darker range and often has more of a fleck or pearl through them.

Being heat and scratch-resistant makes granite the ‘go-to’ for stone kitchen benchtops. Granite is easy to clean and resistant to stains, heat and moisture, perfectly flat, unique and repairable.
